The org: The PeopleDev team works to strengthen Google's performance and culture by preparing Googlers to successfully navigate their most critical challenges today and in the future. The team: The Tools team is part of Google's People Development organization and supports the technology strategy for all of the teams within People Development.

The role: As a Learning Technology Project Manager, you will report to the manager of the PeopleDev Tools team. You will primarily focus on the project management required to support internal and external technology initiatives. This may involve backlog management, stakeholder management, and working closely with internal senior technical stakeholders. You will manage several, high priority, highly visible projects supporting senior stakeholders and key user groups, which will help advance our learning and development technology roadmap. With your passion for operational efficiency and relationship building, you will constantly optimize the day-to-day project management for the Tools team and proactively take the lead on adapting and improving our workflows, processes, and systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and demands, with attention to detail
  • strong ability to build credibility and relationships quickly across a variety of audiences
  • Impeccable judgement and ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; ~5 years relevant work experience in technical program management, and/or related field
Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic Web Development skills (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Familiarity with some server side programming
  • Familiarity with developing application specifications (Entity Relationship Diagrams and other technical documentation)
  • High tolerance for ambiguous, fast-paced, global environments
Skill/Experience/Education

For Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.00/hour.
