Part- Time SEO Analyst

SEO Analyst- Part Time Contract

We are searching for a part time SEO analyst to join our performance marketing team. The SEO Analyst is responsible for recommending and driving the implementation of SEO strategies for three websites, Military.com, Fastweb.com and Finaid.org. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with current SEO techniques and tools and have excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research using dedicated software to generate new keyword ideas and optimize existing content
  • Provide SEO recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with the Content and Operations Teams
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance to continually point out key areas of importance
  • Update older content and add effective calls to action (CTAs) to improve user engagement
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments
  • Assist with paid search campaigns as needed
Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 3+ years experience with SEO marketing
  • Hands on experience with SEMRush, Search Console or similar SEO tools
  • Understanding of ranking factors and search engine optimization practices
  • Experience working with content management systems and building/administering content in CMS environments
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with Google Ad Words a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
