Looking to hire someone who can help out with architectural activities.
The candidate should be able to produce artifacts that an architect generally does.
Be able to produce design diagrams, technical documentation and such from a cloud perspective.
The work involves 70% of research in the cloud domain design/documentation and 30% hands-on activities.
The right candidate needs to have a strong cloud background and be able to research and document best practices for rolling out hybrid cloud features across the enterprise.
Below is the desired skills/experience:
1. Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, Kaniko, Helmcharts and such
2. CICD (Git, Jenkins, Udeploy or similar tools)
3. Azure, GCP background
4. IAAS (ARM, Terraform or similar)
5. Must have some development background and have basic understanding of application architecture, databases, caching, micro services
6. API Gateway, Service Mesh concepts
7. Monitoring tools (ELK stack, Grafana, Splunk or similar tools)
8. Event streaming (Kafka, messaging etc)
9. Ability to generate artifacts using basic architecture and design tools (Visio, power point, Gliffy or similar tools).
10. Understanding of UML, sequence diagrams etc.
11. Good communication (oral and written skills)
12. Aptitude to learn and apply knowledge on the job

Regarded across the enterprise as an expert in multiple identified areas of expertise with responsibility for developing standards and enterprise-wide best practices and for engineering complex, largescale technology solutions to address highly complex and cross-organizational issues. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices. Maintains broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for client. Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions. Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer. Represents client to external industry groups, influencing industry standards. Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of software engineering experience
