Sr. Systems Analyst
Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. Location: Reston, VA, Rancho Cordova, CA or REMOTE.

work hours: 8am to 4pm
+ At least 8 years of SDLC experience in systems analysis activities (e.g., functional and non-functional requirements gathering, writing, etc.).
+ At least 2 years of SDLC experience in Agile methodologies, specifically in activities such as breaking down epics into smaller stories, writing user stories, estimating, etc.
+ Advanced SQL and relational database skills:
- Advanced understanding of relational database concepts and use;
- Advanced understanding of data modeling and data mapping concepts;
- Advanced understanding of data analytics; and
- Demonstrated use of SQL for retrieving data from multiple tables (will be tested with SQL quiz).
+ Advanced understanding of interface design concepts.
+ Advanced skills in the following areas to all levels:
- Communication (writing and speaking);
- Interpersonal (relationship building);
- Interviewing; and
+ Must possess a high degree of professional confidence.
+ Must be able to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
+ Must have experience in leading others or working independently as "THE" lead analyst.
+ Must have the ability and confidence to perform daily responsibilities with minimal or no supervision required.
