Marketing Analytics Developer

job summary:
As an Adobe Analytics and Launch Developer, you will develop and implement robust analytics, optimization, and personalization solutions using Adobe Launch and Analytics. You will work closely with product owners and business users to design, develop, and verify (QA) solutions to ensure the correct metrics are collected accurately across digital platforms. This is a contract to hire position and we are looking to hire immediately.

  • Translates requirements to deliver robust tagging and analytics solutions, libraries, and extensions to meet critical measurement needs.
  • Understands deployment of advertising/marketing pixels, beacons, java script through tag management systems, specifically Adobe Launch
  • Leverage tools and platforms such as Observe Point to ensure tag placement and effectiveness aligned to advertising, analytics, and measurement goals
  • Support first and third-party web and mobile MarTech and AdTech integrations including, Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager, Adobe Target, DoubleClick, Claravine, Medallia Digital, and real user monitoring (RUM) and application performance monitoring (APM) solutions.
  • Support and recommend updates to web data layers in support of analytics and measurement
  • Implement and recommend updates to Adobe Analytics SDR to meet specific measurement goals across the enterprise globally and for specific use cases
  • Support digital & social media, email and off site marketing activities that lead to site visits for personalization and analytics requirements
  • Define and deliver technical best practices for site integrations, analytics and site data layers
  • Enthusiasm to understand and apply emerging architecture and technology concepts to the Marketing space
Must Have

  • 3+ years of experience in tag management, web, and mobile analytics - Adobe preferred
  • Understanding of MarTech and AdTech and use of data for personalization and segmentation in online channels
  • Experience with web data layers, JSON, JavaScript required
  • Experience with Java, CSS, HTML, Angular/React, Node.js preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Audience Manager, Target or AEM preferred
  • Familiarity with WebStorm or other IDE, Bitbucket/Git, CI/CE (Bamboo, Chef, Ansible, Puppet), testing automation frameworks preferred
  • Clear understanding of Agile (scrum or Kanban) and DevOps practices
  • AWS experience strongly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to understand and set direction for complex technology integration
  • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn, experiment and continuously improve
  • Experience level: Experienced
