This is a technical position that requires a wide variety of experience in supporting technology in a complex business environment. The technician will be responsible for a broad variety of support services with virtual or physical machines and software, supporting change requests and projects, asset tracking and troubleshooting local outages and network connection issues.
Troubleshooting and repair of Citrix based virtual machine; Experience working with Windows 7, Windows 10 and MAC OS, MS Outlook; Good Interpersonal Skills - Verbal, Written, Listening; Customer Facing and Vendor Experience
- Troubleshooting and Resolving Incidents via ticketing system
- Technician will actively document and define process and procedures for essential support functions
- Technician will actively document INC/REQ/SR and Knowledge Base in support of services.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1 - 2 Years' Experience of relevant experience in Desk-side Support role (Phone, Onsite and/or Remote)
- Responsible for Hardware / Software Support - Repair, Installation, Audio/Visual, Wireless, Moves
- Responsible to troubleshooting and repair of Citrix based virtual machines.
- Call center software support
- Experience with Hardware Imaging
- Process Warranty/Repair for Replacement Parts
- Assistance with Project Related Activities (Support, Document, Meetings)
- Responsible for Asset Tracking and Audits
- Experience working with Windows 7, Windows 10 and MAC OS, MS Outlook
- Ability to work independently as required
- Collaborate with broader support team as required
- Good Interpersonal Skills - Verbal, Written, Listening
- Customer Facing and Vendor Experience
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Experience (Preferred)
- CompTIA A+, VMware, VSphere, SCCM, ServiceNow
College/University Education: Associate Degree or Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience with Desk-side/Network role in corporate environment
Special Conditions of Employment:
May be required to work variable hours, off-site, and including weekends
Ability to lift 50 pounds (monitors, printers, scanners, etc.)
