Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for a qualified System Engineer to join our engineering solutions team to help support work in Li-ion Battery Management. Job Description:

This job is primarily performing the Lead Systems Engineering role related to the development of an Li-Ion Battery Management and Monitoring System.

You will be response for:

-- the definition and documentation of the battery management system requirements in order to help ensure they are validatable with sufficient required detail to make them actionable .

-- the updating of requirements with necessary approvals, to help maintain development timing.

-- the provision of quantifiable activities in support of the Product Director and their delegates related to design reviews of the battery system.

-- the review of and comment on of the battery system validation plan. Review and comment on test procedures.

-- the reviewing of and comment on the battery management subsystem validation plan.

-- the review of and comment on test procedures.

-- the review of design validation and production validation testing to help ensure the battery system meets defined requirements.

-- the documentation of validation results.

-- the provision of quantifiable activities in support of the Product Director and their delegates related to the closure of open design issues to help ensure the design freeze is done on time with high accuracy.

-- the provision of quantifiable activities in support of the Product Director and their delegates related to the development and documentation of DFMEA system boundary diagrams.

-- Participate in DFMEA meetings and support development and closure of recommended actions for items above for the cube system including reference and standards.

-- Participate in PFMEA meetings and support development and closure of recommended actions for items above for the cube system.

-- the effort to help ensure that key product characteristics include reference and standards for the cube system.

-- Participate in DFMEA meetings and support development and closure of recommended actions for items above for the battery system including reference and standards.

-- Participate in PFMEA meetings and support development and closure of recommended actions for items above for the battery system including reference and standards.

Degree in relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, systems, software, etc.) with sufficient industry experience

Has a disciplined requirements-based engineering approach to system integration, and demonstrates the following skills:

--Requirements analysis and decomposition

--Requirements validation

--Change management

Individuals who are self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done

Ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks, situations, and people
