The IT Project Manager / Service Planner is a key member of the global Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure (ECI) team which architects, designs, implements, and supports Client private cloud along with infrastructure of all enterprise & internal systems hosted in our datacenter as well as in AWS.

You will be part of a team with a mission to run business solutions and deliver operational excellence through services that directly support Client's evolution.

The Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure team is currently working on modernizing Client private cloud to hybrid cloud with major workload migration to AWS and Azure. The team is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager / Service Planner to facilitate project portfolio prioritization, coordination of delivery of new services and enhancements to existing services, service planning, and status reporting.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years project management experience
  • Experience in IT infrastructure related technologies
  • Leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders, and drive decisions to closure
  • Results driven, with the ability to initiate and lead projects
  • Ability to proactively identify alternatives and make contingency plans
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation and consensus building skills
  • Successful ability to manage conflict with positive results
  • Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment
  • Solid understanding of Project Management Methodologies including Agile Scrum and Kanban Demand Management
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Specific Technical Competencies / Desired:

  • Certified Scrum Master
  • strong project life cycle experience
  • Experience using JIRA and Wiki (Atlassian)

responsibilities:
  • Maintain the team service portfolio and track status of associated initiatives
  • Assists with business case development with costing and customer needs assessments
  • Collaborate and partner with other organizations for communication and service alignment
  • Manage specific programs/projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Develop and maintain program/project plan and schedule. Assist team members in planning, estimating, and controlling tasks. Ensure that interfaces are recognized and tasks are integrated. Perform critical path analysis and develop action plans to mitigate risk. Identify and implement alternative solutions. Deliver a variety of presentations in support of the program objectives.
  • Coordinates cross-functional communications and project interdependencies
  • Oversees the escalation and resolution of project issues by interfacing with senior customers/clients and external groups for product development and support
  • Continuously monitor and communicate realistic expectations of EIS capabilities, to stakeholders, including commitments for budget and project delivery
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with various internal functional groups, project teams and other stakeholders to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to program success
  • Provide both executive and team level status reporting on department indicatives at portfolio, program and project levels via dashboards and metrics
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts
  • Dissect high-level information into details and communicate these details in a manner understood by relevant audiences. Partner with team to create valuable dashboards and metrics
