We seek a business/technical analyst with strengths in the following areas:

- Team player with strong communication skills

- Ability to define business requirements and create technical specifications for developers

- Creation of technical specifications will require a firm grasp of relational database models for writing freehand SQL and data extraction

- Good multitasking skills, project management experience and presentation skills

- Experience with application development process and/or programming experience

I. Business Expertise

- Good understanding of the securities industry

- Experience with testing large-scale software applications

- Experience with security master reference data

- Experience with third party vendors like Bloomberg, Markit or Barra

- Experience with fixed income instruments is a plus

- Understanding of financial liquidity concepts is a strong plus

II. Analyst skills

- Team player with strong communication skills

- Facilitate communications upward to the management level, customers and across all development units (e.g. business analysis, development, release management)

- Coordinate project team activities throughout the software development lifecycle

- Daily tasks include business requirements analysis, technical specifications drafting for developers, and testing new software enhancements/fixes

- Experience with financial data systems

III. Technical skills

- Well versed in freehand SQL and data extraction

- Firm grasp of relational database models

IV. Experience with application development process

- Good project management and multitasking skills

- Experience testing software designed for elaborate business scenarios

V. Other

- Aptitude for learning new things and flexibility to adapt to a new course of direction
