The Agile Transformation Coach is an organizational change agent, lean/agile practice leader, and coach. In this role you would be responsible for leading Agile transformation of the IT Enablement Services organization that is responsible for global IT infrastructure, operations and user experience. You would be an influencer who is able to bring up new teams, coach multiple teams at the same time, operate globally, and more. In this role you would progress to lead the Agile practice in the broader Corp IS organization and other groups beyond IS over time. As the Agile Coach grows, the organization will benefit from versatility in skillset, change agency, and ability to coach at all levels.

You would be an expert in the core agile practices including product ownership, backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies and various methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean problem solving and continuous improvements. You would be an outstanding facilitator in bringing the organization together to a consistent practice across the organization so that we speak the same language and move faster on a cohesive set of priorities that has the highest impact to our business partners or customers and ADI. This role provides coaching to all on continuous improvement, focus on business value, agile portfolio management, use of standard problem solving tools, rapid development and ideation, structured tools for inspection and adaptation, self-direction of teams and practice an agile culture rooted in relationships, trust, agility, transparency and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Agile methodology to realize IT enablement services transformation strategy. Develop the Agile methodology that best fits the organization by onboarding agile champions across the IT enablement services organization.
  • Lead as an Agile Coach for an existing team or a new implementation of an Agile framework by facilitating and enabling:

    • Teams to build open trust and respect
    • Organizing, Identifying and prioritizing highest value work for our customers and business partners
    • Develop the team to be self-organizing/driven to deliver effective and quality output
    • Coach the teams towards cross-functionality and high collaboration
    • Coach the teams in breaking down work to incremental chunks of value
    • Continuously try new approaches and keep the team flexible
    • Measure results of each of the above and demonstrate progress with simple and clear metrics
  • Lead the organization by coaching up, down, and across

    • Establish new agile implementations to build a flexible, value driven, and inspect and adapt culture within new teams
    • Coach product and portfolio management on effective backlog management to maximize value
  • Clearly exhibit versatility in skillset with ability to implement the best framework for a specific situation or problem

    • Kanban and Scrum or none where applicable
    • Rapid development activities and ideation such as hothouses or hackathons
    • Lean tools like PDCA, improvement Kata, value stream mapping, or DMAIC
  • Ability to measure to show improvement within a given framework.
  • Lead geographical & technologically diverse IT infrastructure, operations & support organizations (people, process, and technology).
  • Define critical KPIs, metrics, and business outcomes that deliver an ROI to the organization and communicate them effectively






Required Characteristics & Competencies

  • Proven ability to expedite the process to move an organization up the "change curve"
  • Outstanding facilitation skills with technology teams to organize and lead rapid ideation events
  • Facilitated lean problem solving with proven results
  • A broad technology background in infrastructure and operations. A thorough understanding of ITIL processes relating to incident management, problem management, and change management
  • Solid understanding of Cloud and Digital technologies, IT infrastructure, operations, application development and information security
  • strong Experience working with global teams working across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to utilize a defined problem-solving framework to reach measurable results
  • Performed in a coaching role across the organization
  • Successful track record of delivering projects and further enabling teams using Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Lean, Six-Sigma methodologies in leading problem management and continuous improvements to drive customer value and experience.
  • Previous experience in working with a multicultural and international team.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Developed analytical, problem solving and quantitative modeling skills.
  • Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Experience with Shared Services or Global Business Services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including engagement and communication with 'C' suite executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills in order to be the voice of best practice for Agile Transformation.

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
