Senior Project Manager

job summary:
Our Major Financial Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager.

Basic Requirements:

- 5 - 7 years related experience

- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented

- Demonstrated problem solving skills and solution development

- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision and as part of a team

- Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines

- Ability to identify and escalate risks and impediments

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Working knowledge of corporate governance policies and procedures

- Experience in Risks and Controls and conducting risk assessments.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and/or Access (or other database tools)

- Experience developing or using Quick Base applications or Tableau reports

responsibilities:
You will have every opportunity to identify continuous improvements in model governance and risk reporting in a fast-paced, highly intellectual, mission focused organization. In this role, you will be expected to:

- Embrace and enhance the model governance critical activities by executing according to model risk policies, standards and procedures

- Regularly interact with client's executives

- Prepare management reports to present performance metrics and key initiatives

- Develop concise and thorough summaries/overviews both internal team and officer level audiences

- Coordinate and manage across departments and activities such as model risk dashboards and committee presentation materials

- Negotiate and manage cross-departmental/cross-divisional priorities

- Help manage expectations and deadlines for team members (cross departmental)

- Maintain clear interim milestone dates and keeping stakeholders informed of upcoming deliverables

- Continually look for ways to improve process, tools, etc. to make project execution more efficient for the organization

- Work on meaningful tools to prepare management reports to present summaries, overviews, performance metrics, and key initiatives to internal team and officer level audiences
