The Sr Technical Program Manager partners with stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch technology solutions and programs that deliver significant business value to the company and its customers.

As the Sr TPM - HR Tech, you will work with and across teams of Engineers and System Analysts within the HR Technology organization to transition a new application into our portfolio as well as stand up the program to manage the work needed in support of a datacenter deprecation. You will work closely with our Product Management team, Business partners, HR, Engineering Leadership, Compliance and Security to define the team's roadmap and manage a variety of programs that range in scope, risk, and complexity. Work for this team includes day to day support activities, business and technology enhancements, and transformational delivery with a focus on continuous improvement.   • Demonstrate customer focus, being mindful of Key Performance Indicators
  • Manage programs of high impact, risk, complexity while building and executing integrated plans across multiple teams
  • Present demos, status updates and risk/mitigation strategies and communicate down the pyramid through VP level
  • Apply experience as well as technical, functional and customer expertise to define the technical components of a multi-year capability roadmap
  • Successfully manage resource capacity planning, accurately forecasting 6 months ahead and explaining variances
  • Possess strong level knowledge of technology (e.g. Cloud, APIs, services, Windows stack, open source, database technologies, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Use engineering lifecycle knowledge and prior experience to drive improvements
  • Handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Anticipate and remove blockers that are impeding the team's success
  • Ensure application/system health, striving for minimal defects and downtime
  • Define and facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, grooming, sprints, design reviews, sprint demos, retros
  • Knows who customers are and communicates technical requirements to dependent teams. Defines data requirements in both technical and business terms that inform the success of programs
  • Uses customer lens to create data measurements to quantify measures for success and recognizes gaps in technical and operational KPI's
  • Possesses a broad understanding of end to end capability and applies engineering lifecycle knowledge to feature design, story creation, estimation, triage, schedule and performance standards
  • Reads basic code constructs, understands and identifies estimates of effort to complete engineering work streams
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
