Client is seeking a DevOps Engineer that will be a member of our team supporting the High Performance Computing program onsite at NASA Ames Research Center.
Client provides High Performance Computing services throughout the HPC lifecycle for computational requirements, architecture, acquisition and operations to NASA on a ten-year program called NACS (NASA Advanced Computing Services). We are seeking a DevOps Engineer that will embrace our culture of innovation and commitment to continuous, standards-driven process improvement and assimilation of industry best practices. salary: $80 - 90 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
Day-to-day operations within the Tools Group and assigned projects
Work on complex projects to integrate new tools and features into legacy workflows
Build/maintain automated deployments through the use of configuration management
Deploy new modules and upgrades and complete fixes within the production environment Proactively monitor, analyze, and correct application issues
Developing scripts to automate repetitive tasks or tools to enhance support
Application performance analysis and tuning Participate and/or project-planning meeting providing guidance and expertise on system options, risk, impact and costs vs. benefits
Develop operational requirements and development forecasts Rotating on shift support and after hours support as required Other duties as assigned
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
- Electrical Engineering
