Epic Client Systems Administrator

job summary:
  • Epic ECSA certification. Epic Data Courier Administration certification is a plus
  • Ability to distribute Epic windows application on multiple servers.
  • Ability to participate in cross functional meetings to resolve Epic Client-Server technical issues.
  • Has a comprehensive view of the Epic Windows applications, infrastructure and the 3rd party applications.
  • Installs, upgrades, maintains and supports Epic ancillary applications (Web Blob, Interconnect, Hyperspace Web, EPS, etc.) server platforms.
  • Applies Epic client pack updates to all installed ancillary applications
  • Works with other teams to apply and validate Windows patches to application servers.
  • Monitors and optimizes the performance of Epic ancillary applications
  • Defines and implements security, audit, and resource allocation policies and procedures. Defines, creates, and manages service user accounts, profiles, privileges, roles, and required audit information.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other teams (UNIX, MS SQL, Windows, Network, SAN etc.) related to database, application and environment support and projects.
