Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of hands-on experience automating native Mobile and Web application in Agile environment
  • Expertise in Creating Test Automation Frameworks with Appium and Selenium.
  • Expertise in setting up Automation Suites in CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, or similar tool
  • Expertise in Typescripts, JUnit, Soap UI, TestNG, JMeter, Postman
  • Expertise in developing API Automated Integration Testing solutions using Jasmin BDD solution
  • Experience using Espresso and Protractor Framework will be plus
  • Experience with testing applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with OKR methodology strong plus
  • Experience leading outsourced resources strong plus
  • Ability to determine Strategic direction and not just Tactical
  • strong programming and technical experience as this role will require digging into code and interfacing with developers and Development Managers
  • Excellent attention to details

responsibilities:
  • Management of the Android, iOS, Web, and API Automation team
  • Setup Processes, and Best practices as related to Test Automation
  • Create/Assist/Troubleshoot the development of Test Automation Framework, Standards, Procedures,
  • Manage the Daily/Weekly activities of the Test Automation Team Members and support the onboarding of new team members
  • Review Automation Requirements and Specifications to Automated test solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to Automation team members
  • Contribute and Support Quality Assurance Management
  • Determining status, assessing problem areas, suggesting and reviewing corrective actions,
  • Directing/planning necessary work, and rework and re-plan activities
  • Maintain and Guide Test Automation Suites Execution and undertake analysis of results to ensure that software meets or Exceeds specified standards
  • Work with Product Managers and Owners to determine the appropriate quality initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Functional, Regression and Engineering QA Team
  • Work within Quality Assurance frameworks to ensure stability, efficiency and scalability
  • Take responsibility for providing value of Automation Testing to Team
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of Automation Test planning and Execution
  • Assist in the development of Quality Assurance and Testing policies, standards and procedures, processes, and best practices as related to Automation
  • Support the onboarding of new team members
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross functional team leaders
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on best practices related to Software Development Process Improvement
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options, and where appropriate, leading to resolution being implemented
  • Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
  • Ability to prioritize personal and team workloads to best meet Quality Assurance objectives
  • Empowered to make decisions and recommend approach based on the results from Quality reviews
