job summary:
Description:

Candidate is responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable Anchor Coupling success.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
  • Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
  • Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
  • Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
  • Set up user accounts for system access, Windows domain, lotus notes, etc.
  • Maintain server backup for data integrity and data restoration
  • Maintain file, print, and application servers including CITRIX terminal servers
  • Set up new users for the PBX/Phone System, account access new numbers
  • Maintain audix message system, user database, backup and restores.
  • Set up new users.
  • Position manages the completion of their own work assignments and coordinates work with others.
  • Communication and customer service focus are necessary.
  • Ability to listen to others is important to the position.
  • *Will possibly receive phone calls at night.
Technical Skills Required:

  • 3 years experience required.
  • Microsoft Office required.
  • AutoCAD desired.
  • Familiarity with Mach 1 desired.
Soft Skills Required:

Education Requirements:

Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent) desired. In lieu of degree, would prefer some sort of certification. Three years relevant experience required. Progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.
