Android React Native Developer

job summary:
Randstad Technologies has an immediate need with our longstanding end customer, a leading Software Development firm with offices in Dallas TX.

3+ month project. Good potential to extend long term. Work from home (remote) is fine.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Android Development
  • 1+ years of React Native Development
  • 1+ years Angular
  • Experience with at least some of the following: GraphQL, SSO (SAML and OAuth), MySQL, Google Maps, Gradle
Preferred Skills:

TestRail, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), Slack, Teams

Responsibilities Develop Android mobile component libraries that more seamlessly integrates two currently disparate products; build front-end UI according to design comps; release according to DevOps & CI/CD best practices (Bamboo)

Re-Platform legacy product stack to modern microservices-based architecture. Develop mobile libraries to expose new front-end screens and back-end data to Care.com mobile app.

  • Established team needs additional resources to support expanding backlog
  • Build & maintain Android applications for several brands
  • Triage, debug and fix issues in a timely manner. Where needed, communicate and work with Android and/or back-end teams to find root causes and ensure issues are fixed on all platforms
  • Collaborating with UX Designers, Project Owners, Scrum Master and other developers to plan, estimate and implement features
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Ensure the high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
