Content Creator needed for contract role with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

100% Remote

Job Description:

The Content Creator role will be responsible for the ideation and creation of social content across multiple brand-level social media channels, with a strong focus on short-form video platforms such as Tik Tok, IG Reels, and YouTube shorts. You will work with creative team and Creative Director to create video content that surprises and entertains viewers, while supporting major company announcements, product features, and brand love.

The Content Creator will be responsible for creating innovative, fully accessible, global-ready, brand-approved content. You will be asked to maintain consistent, high-quality output. While traditional video creation will be the core of the role, the team works across multiple disciplines, so all experience could be relevant, and all skills may be utilized.



  • strong knowledge and skills for the full funnel of creating social video content (please provide a reel or portfolio, and specify roles for each project)
  • strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere
  • Basic camera operation
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for social media and a thorough understanding of content trends on various platforms
  • Experience creating new, unexpected executions within set brand guidelines
  • Experience managing feedback from multiple stakeholders
Additional skills that could be utilized:

  • Familiarity and working knowledge of design and motion tools (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Writing and scripting experience, especially in comedy
  • Animation experience
  • On-camera experience
  • Passion around core Microsoft values, including emerging technology, inclusive design, and sustainability

  • Ideate with channel owners and creative team on new, fresh, and exciting social media content
  • Produce, film, and edit content for release - often with limited resources
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with team leads and Creative Director to keep projects on-time, on-brand, and meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Understand and embrace company-wide and product-specific brand guidelines, while ideating within them to create modern, digital-friendly content
  • Keep up with social media and digital trends, bringing this knowledge to help the team know when to (and when not to) engage
  • Maintain a careful eye for the details, including copy (grammar, spelling, etc)
  • Apply the highest accessibility standards to all content across all channels
  • Approach all content with a global mindset, including knowing when to ask for additional diverse perspectives
  • Bring yourself, your skills, and your interests to this team and its content
  • Keeping an eye on the platform and the trends, bringing them to our attention and sharing the trends with the team
  • Experience level: Experienced
