Position Overview:

The Pricing & Profitability Analyst is directed by both the Category Merchandise and Supplier Lifecycle Management. This is a potential Temp to Hire opportunity.

Pricing Responsibilities:

Under the direction of NAD Print Category Merchandise management:

- Execute and analyze strategic price tests for SBA and SBD. Work cross functionally (Sales Leadership, Marketing, Sales Ops) to ensure the proper set-up and communication. Provide test insights, analysis and recommendations based on elasticity (demand curves) and financial results.

- Enhance NAD Print Sales and Gross Margin by initiating and providing rigorous analysis on price zone structures, market performance, promo seasons, catalog performance, Buying Guide price development, price guarantee trends, product/service bundling, "good, better, best" price ladders, and full category reviews. Contribute to additional ad hoc analysis as requested.

- Support NAD Print pricing strategy development. Share best practices.

- Provide various analyses and reports, as requested.

Profitability Responsibilities:

Under the direction of NAD Print Supplier Life Cycle management:

- Build and own financial modeling impacting the NAD Print P&L, including but not limited to headcounts, budgets, forecasting, rebates and productivity analysis, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative information.

- Create post-mortems of program pro-formas and propose improvement plans to Merchant and Field Sales leadership.

- Develop content and support NAD Merchandise and Sales Operations in the training of associates in account profitability including CPE's, operational expense allocations, and inventory control and obsolescence risk.

- Lead the development and operational execution of multiple business plans and projects; monitor, report and course correct against milestones and deliverables.

- Respond to field and corporate requests for information and perform ad hoc analysis designed to assist field sales in their efforts to attain goals and objectives.

- Support with the identification, development and implementation of Process Excellence design and improvement projects to support sales growth and ease of internal business operations.

- Support strategic initiatives to improve overall print operations efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree Finance, Business or related field of study

- 5+ years applicable experience

- Advanced software skills in the MS Suite

- Excellent communication skills through phone, in-person, and writing

- Basic troubleshooting/analysis skills

- Proficient with MS Office and other productivity software suites

- Advanced analytical and pricing skills
