Under partial or minimal supervision, perform all or some of the following core job functions:

1. Personal ownership for the complex client base to include all aspects of transnational processing,

submission content, timely and accurate system maintenance and preparation of account activity for

submission to Market as appropriate as well as Client collateral administration

2. Liaison with Client as necessary, transact entry, preparation of Market documentation, submit to

Markets for agreement (via Brokers and/or electronic) to include effective query resolution (with

guidance where necessary)

3. Work alongside Market Fiduciary and/or Excess of Loss Collections (US) to assist (as required)

with collection of funds.

4. Manage settlement of funds to and from Client in a timely manner ensuring all applicable payment

warranties and/or conditions are met and take ownership of the End 2 End process

5. Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner ensuring Client

measurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to

6. Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other system tools to manage all brokerage

receivables, funding, retention, e-trading (UK), post booking receipt (UK), adhoc reporting

requests, payment of funds and all management and transactional process steps to provide services

in an efficient, effective and regulatory compliant manner

7. Evaluate issues around waste, corrections, duplication and queries to identify improvements either

via evolution and/or educational needs

8. Manage the scheduling of and attend transactional/claim reviews as appropriate

9. Provide input for the evolution of the operational model at a personal, Team, transactional Regional

and/or Global level. Promote new process improvement ideas leveraging technology solutions

10. Participate in Request For Proposal (RFP) and sales opportunities

11. Operate within a coordinated effort with colleagues and team on a Regional and Global basis

12. Promote, build and maintain relationships with Markets/Clients, understand issues, resolve

problems and queries and review working practices. Seek guidance from senior colleagues as

required

13. Participate in team meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutions;

maintain strong working relationships and participate in initiatives and/or contribute where required

to deliver outcomes. Seek opportunities to increase own understanding and improve the services

provided

14. Support, assist and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed

15. Support team by maintaining colleagues' workloads in their absence

16. Take ownership of personal development and seek training where required

17. Perform other job-related duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

Higher Education or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

Considerable, relevant professional experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

1. A mentor with the ability to develop personal effectiveness of colleagues

2. Proven knowledge of Reinsurance concepts, regulatory controls and general business trends

3. Good understanding of project management methodology, stakeholder management, risk mitigation

within the everyday workplace

rapport in order to effectively access internal and external networks

5. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise

messages and at all times promoting and enhancing the Guy Carpenter brand

completing assigned task including project work
