Job Summary:

Perform simple booking and office management; handle mail, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting records, and other task-based items related to the maintenance/processing of

and invoices for Company's various properties and vendors. Will also perform admin duties such as answering phone calls, keeping track of CEO schedule and calendar management, and take meeting notes as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Data enter invoices
  • Receive and verify invoices and requisitions
  • Review to confirm that paid invoices are to correct vendor, for the correct amount
  • and are properly authorized for payment
  • Present checks for signature and mail checks to vendors
  • Match approved invoices and purchase orders to checks
  • Coordinate with Controller and CEO for AR & AP duties
  • Perform heavy calendar management for CEO
  • Enter cash receipts for residential, commercial, and senior living properties
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures established by the Company
  • Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience:

  • Real estate accounting/bookkeeping experience required
  • General understanding of accounting practices and principles
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong calendar management experience
  • College courses in bookkeeping/accounting preferred
