Senior Staff Auditor / Consultant - 65,000 - 85,000
Our client, located in the western suburbs is a growing leading provider of accounting, risk compliance, and advisory services. They are looking to expand their audit practice in their risk and compliance group and would like to hire a Senior Staff Auditor. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3 years of internal or public accounting experience. The incumbent will have knowledge of and skills in applying internal auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley and accounting principles and practices to their clients. You will identify the clients risk areas and pride key input to the development of the annual internal audit plan and also put key controls in place for Sarbanes - Oxley compliance.
- Document business processes and procedures using narratives and flowcharts
- Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment
- Create test plans and perform internal control testing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, testing, reviewing and analyzing evidence and formulating conclusions
