Operations Specialist Corporate Actions

job summary:
Corporate Actions Operations Specialist

Candidate should possess a BS/BA degree and 1-2 years experience in financial services operations ideally, he/she should have at least one year of Corporate Actions experience, specifically proxy/class action processes.

Will be responsible for mandatory/voluntary corporate actions custody functions related to securities for all accounts. Responsible for processing basic mandatory/voluntary corporate action events. This may include the daily interpretation, monitoring, scrubbing, and notification of corporate action events as well as the reconcilement, monitoring, and posting of entitlements to client accounts.

Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, deadline driven, high-risk environment. Customer service orientation is a must with excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
