Financial Analyst

job summary:
In this Sr. Financial Analyst role, not only will you be responsible for the development and automation of Financial and Portfolio reporting within the IT organization to a wide variety of audiences, you will also be tasked in helping revamp our internal processes and drive efficiencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Analyze and report on IT infrastructure expenses, providing variance analysis and process improvements along the way.

- Provide reporting support to help develop and enhance Portfolio Reporting in tableau.

- Support the IT organization and Portfolio & Financial Planning Team by providing reporting and statistics on time-tracking from the JournyX tool as well as monitoring and enforcement.

- Work with high volume sets of data from multiple sources utilizing MS Excel and Access as needed.

- Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures and recommend improvements.

- Perform varied work assignments with limited supervision.

- Support Ad-hoc requests as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Undergraduate Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience

- 3+ or more years' experience in Finance, Information Technology or related field

- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with automating reporting

- SharePoint experience

- Microsoft Access experience

- Microsoft PowerPoint experience

- Experience manipulating large data sets

- Experience with Tableau & Tableau Server
