VP Financial Planning and Analysis

job summary:
Leading global software/SaaS company is looking for a VP Financial Planning & Analysis. Reports to the CFO and you will be owing the company's financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and equity) including budget/forecast and long-range planning.

Responsibilities for VP FP&A position:

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing operating and financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
  • Manage pricing including models and documentation for products, financial impact of potential pricing changes, FX analysis and product and customer profitability analysis
  • Partner with broader organization and IT to improve forecasting processes through automation and system optimization and ensure the accuracy of financial data
  • Lead ad hoc financial modeling and analysis for special projects; build detailed financial models for scenario planning
  • Partner with IR to ensure proper financial guidance as well as messaging of KPIs
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research and modeling for senior company leadership
  • Work closely with sales professionals and business applications to enable the use of Salesforce.com and clean data entry
  • Coordinate efforts with business applications and IT teams to systematically improve processes and;
  • Build and manage a high performance team, actively participate in building a culture that is customer-focused and team-oriented
Requirements for VP FP&A:

BS/MBA

10+ years of related experience

Experience with SaaS/Cloud software industry

Strong analytical & problem solving skills
