Trade Compliance Coordinator
Support Trade Compliance operational activities and exception management (i.e. ISF / Entry timeliness), which may include interfacing with internal and external customers, freight forwarders, distribution center, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and compliance of shipments.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and distill trade data into actionable insights / metrics and support internal & external audit requests.
Conducting entry audits and supporting the monitoring and retention of records and documentation for import and export shipments.
Management of all external (i.e. customs broker and DC) classification databases and lead efforts to create a centralized repository with cross functional collaboration (i.e. Classification, Product Engineering, outsourcing teams).
Work with cross functional stakeholders in support of Trade Compliance requirements.
Assistance to improve and implement global customs compliance projects, processes, SOPs and compliance toolkits.
Keep abreast of US and Canada import/export compliance regulations and how it impacts products.
Special projects will be assigned.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Support day to day import/export activities, including brokerage, DC exception management and weekly metrics/audit.
End-to-end HTS classification management to ensure internal and external partners receive up-to-date and adequate HTS information on a regular basis.
Attend meetings, take notes and perform discrete tasks as directed by the team.

US Customs brokerage license and/or 3-5 years of experience working in a customs brokerage, in-house international trade/logistics or customs practice.
Knowledge of US Customs and government regulations and government agencies, including the HTS classification framework.
Proficiency in Excel, Access or SQL with experience in manipulating large trade data sets and good working knowledge of ITRAC / ACE or equivalent import trade data
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Strong ability to collaboration and be able to influence with limited oversight.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with, and across, all levels of the organization.
Experience with complex organizational supply chains and systems preferred. Ability to learn and utilize various types of software and information systems.
Ability to multi-tasks in a fast-pace environment
BA/BS Degree, supply chain or international trade
