Sales Associate

job summary:
GREAT OPPORTUNITY to work with one of the top tech companies in the DC Metro region, getting in on the ground floor with ton's of room to grow! Our client needs to add multiple sales and business development professionals to their busy team, these are contract to hire roles and would likely convert at the 6 month mark. Compensation: 50K, 4% commission element once you become a permanent employee

Start date: ASAP

Interview Process:

  • After meeting with our team for an initial interview, you'll take 3 assessments then ideally talk directly with the hiring manager
Work Environment: Business professional to business casual (depends on the day)

Benefits upon permanent hire: full insurance package. 3 weeks PTO, 1 week sick, 11 holidays. 40 hour week. Benefits through Randstad are available after 45 days working as a temporary.

What will you be doing?

  • Working directly with 3 Business Development Managers to create qualified sales leads in their geographic territory
  • Conduct research on prospects from marketing events (tradeshows, ads, website, etc)
  • Make initial client contact and set up meetings for the BD
  • Cold-calling and "inside sales" activities
What Qualifications should you have?

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years experience
  • Strong cold-calling, recruiting, and technology backgrounds preferred
  • Willing to learn constantly (there is constant training on company products and new solutions)
