Background on the Position

Tax Operations is seeking an associate to support the ISG Tax Q.A., Control and Reconciliation role reporting into the Utah Director.

This is a challenging position that requires strong organization and process management skills. In addition, this role requires excellent trouble shooting, execution and communication (written and verbal) skills.

responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities

-Receive data, review and resolve and report all system to system data discrepancies (GDS to TDW to Revolver)

-Sample documents for review:

-Ensure accounts deemed undocumented by the analyst are in fact undocumented

-Ensure accounts deemed documented by the analyst meet the requirements (completeness, accuracy, correct form

-Eligibility for treaty rates

-Ensure cure documents are appropriate, complete and accurate

-Track and report results

-Sample Change in Circumstance & U.S. Indicia events to ensure

-Those deemed by the analyst to be a CIC are in fact true CIC

-Those deemed by the analyst to be a "false positive" were appropriately disposition

-FATCA / IGA filings

-Review all data from IT prior to submitting to E&Y

-Review all E&Y filings and providing signoff prior to submission

-Track and report all filings

-Sample withholding reversals to ensure timeliness and accuracy

 
qualifications:
Skills required

The successful candidate will operate across all business units and Tax Operations functional areas and will possess the following skills:

-Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues and meet tight deadlines

-Ability to operate across all functional areas across Business Unit, Corporate Tax, Technology and Risk

-Highly Organized and Detail Oriented

-Ability to manage a large team in a complex and dynamic environment

-Attention to detail and meeting deadlines

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Good analytical and problem solving skills

-Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel

-Strong MS Office skills, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project
