HR Help Desk Administrator

job summary:
We are currently seeking a HR Help Desk Administrator for one of our large Financial Services clients. The HR Help Desk Administrator will be part of the Global Business Service Center and is responsible for providing support for all inbound inquiries, issues and requests from internal and external customers. The HR Help Desk Administrator will act as a single point of contact for vendor and internal employee related inquiries This is a 6 month assignment and could be extended.

Primary responsibilities of the HR Help Desk Administrator include:

- Provides a single point of contact for vendor and internal employee related inquiries; Responds to employee emails and phone calls in a timely manner

- Resolves employee inquiries or transfers them to the appropriate party for resolution; Performs employee requested transactions under supervision; Follows documented control processes to protect confidential information;

- Supports tracking of standard case metrics (e.g., time to resolve, volumes by sub-category, first contact resolution, stats by individual); Acts as a liaison between employees or vendors and the GBSC; Promotes employee self-service to reduce call volume in the future

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Word and Excel; experience with Oracle Financials Accounts Payable module preferred or similar technology systems

Education and Skills:

- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance practices; Call Center and/or Service Center experience; Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools (i.e., MS Outlook, MS Word) preferred

- Solid understanding of Procurement to Payment processes, especially Accounts Payable within a Shared Service environment strongly preferred

- English and preferably Spanish or Portuguese

Primary responsibilities of the HR Help Desk Administrator include:

- Successfully handles inquiries from internal and external customers. Requires minimal supervision to manage daily activities and is able to meet published deadlines for activities.

- Familiar with a performance management environment and is able to perform in accordance with targets. Plans and organizes work so the Service Level Agreement objectives are realized

- Assists in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction
