Business Analyst - Fort Worth, TX

  • This is a contract role expected to last 5 months.
  • Seeking more of an Analyst level - Ideal candidate would be a recent college grad with a Finance or Accounting focus.
Business Analyst - Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the preparation of P&L statements and in conjunction therewith for developing and making recommendations to ensure economic viability. Also analyze and interpret data to make recommendations in regional and local markets.
  • Responsible for bids and proposals including pricing guidelines and contractual/legal considerations.
  • Requires preparation of sales reports/data for account analysis to include any custom sales information reporting.
  • Manages and monitors pricing exceptions deductions and credits to identify any pricing problems. Assist Distributors and Office Managers with local contract expirations and pricing issues.
  • Assists CMCA Account Management regarding evaluation of and response to national contracts regarding orthopaedic products. Prepares analysis for and implements annual price list.
  • Coordinates and evaluates the training of Contract Administrator. Audits accuracy and timeliness of the Contract Administrator presenting any issues to the Pricing Administration Supervisor.
  • Coordinates and evaluates the training of District/Distributor Administrative Personnel as it relates to contract and pricing issues.
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration plus three (3) years of experience is required. A degree in finance accounting or marketing with an emphasis in quantitative business analysis is preferred.
  • Good communication skills (grammar/writing public speaking and telephone skills) are necessary.
  • Must possess good organizational skills plus demonstrate tact diplomacy discretion and judgment. This position will be responsible for - Assisting in the submission of contracts generating sales up to $20 million - Performing the maintenance necessary to help implement the annual pricing project. Ability to edit and in some cases prepare first draft of letters memos etc.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts commissions percentages and market share calculations.
