Senior Analyst, Sales Compensation - Acquisitions

job summary:
This position, on the Sales Compensation team, will be deal directly with the data from acquisitions. This position is project based, changing based on the new acquisitions. This is a full-time position in Northfield.





CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: List the essential job responsibilities in descending order of importance.









1.





Provide courteous and customer-focused responses to emails and calls. Prioritize these requests based on urgency and accurately resolve requests within department designated timeframes. Collaborate with other in the department to identify trends in the type, source or root cause of issues and requests. Lead efforts to reduce the need for manual updates or improve the processing efficiency and accuracy of data.









2.





Understand the impact of changes within the department to Medline overall and anticipate downstream consequences of changes on other business areas and systems. Design and maintain processes or tools to address root causes of issues. Proactively engage with Sales Programming or I/S to implement solutions.









3.





Provide analysis and reporting on an ad hoc and recurring basis to department and sales leadership. Serve as the subject matter expert in assigned areas. Recommend new solutions and improvements and see those proposals through to completion.









4.





Monitor for data accuracy and integrity. If inaccuracies or inconsistencies exist, develop proposed solutions and ensure resolution. Monitor trends to identify process improvements and education opportunities, and prepare and deliver training as needed.









5.





Explore new solutions or opportunities with various business partners across the company. Act as a representative of the department on cross functional project teams.









6.





Promote positive team environment by training and onboarding new hires, participating in or leading group projects and by motivating others.









7.





Make recommendations to enhance existing audits and design new audits to address changing business needs.











BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: List minimum education, certification, years of experience, etc. which are required to perform the job.

Bachelor's Degree









Relevant Work Experience









3-5 years of experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.









Certification / Licensure



















Additional









Experience in processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions (minimum 2 years).

Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements (minimum 2 years).

Experience in controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines (minimum 2 years).

Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: working with large data sets, using AVERAGE function, using vlookups and creating a pivot table).

Knowledge of SAP a plus.
