Program Coordinator - Columbia, MD

  • This is a contract position expected to last 1 month.
Program Coordinator - Job Duties:

  • Investigate beneficiary exceptions and issues and resolve them through the use of financial information and payment records to ensure monies received are applied to the correct beneficiary accounts
  • Maintain an accurate record of all documentation associated with each case
  • Track inventory of all items worked in a tracking log to inform team members of total work received, closed, or the status of pending requests
  • Develop and compile the statistics in addition to the preparation of narratives for project deliverables as required
  • Scan case records into secure database
  • Contribute to project deliverables as required
  • Participate in internal meetings
  • Contribute to and provide meeting minutes within the required timeframe as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • At least six (6) months of relevant experience required (internship experience may count as applicable experience)
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Medicare Insurance experience/knowledge preferred
  • Background in customer service preferred
  • Have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
