Position: Pre-Sales Global Operations & Sales Location: Chicago

Well established, high volume international logistics / forwarding company is seeking a Pre-Sales professional to facilitate sales and management process of existing and new business development. The Pre-Sales Consultant performs sales and service for targeted accounts, existing customers and/or specified program and will have two to three Sales Executives and their respective customer portfolio assigned to her/him. The Pre-Sales Consultant ensures highest customer satisfaction by handling and coordinating customer requests including quotations, claims and reports. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational skills are required for this role, as are a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the operational execution of Global and Mid size accounts including performance management, day to day operations execution, overseas coordination
  • Manage Quarter End activities to meet customer requirements including shipment upgrades, coordination and other
  • Initial escalation point for operational matters relating to assigned Global Accounts
  • Manage completion of all customer performance and analysis reports, customer presentations, and other internal reports and presentations as required.
  • Lead implementation of new lanes or other customer business initiatives (productivity improvements, EDI etc)
  • Coordinate pricing requests between Local, Regional and Global Sales Teams
  • Complete customer performance and analysis reports, customer presentations, and other internal reports and presentations as required.
