Business Analyst - Richmond, VA

  • This is a contract role expected to last 4 months.
Business Analyst - Job Duties:

  • The Business Analyst will be responsible for creating reporting and databases to support multiple ongoing projects at a time. This will include supporting the daily activities of the global purchasing and fulfillment groups. A successful candidate will have excellent understanding of distribution operations, purchasing methods and a technical background to support these efforts. The Senior BA will use their gained knowledge and abilities to suggest recommendations, improve overall operations and exceed service levels via tool development and technical enhancements.
  • Managing multiple projects concerning cost, ROI, purchasing, inventory, distribution.
  • Creating of reports and databases to support above areas.
  • Database maintenance
Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years inventory experience.
  • 2+ years experience with analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Access).
  • Excel Proficiencies - Pivot table creation, create formulas, large data sets.
  • Access Proficiencies - ability to create tables, join tables, create forms.
  • Proficient with JD Edwards ERP system.
  • Proficient with Syspro and Mega Trak warehousing systems (preferred).
Compensation: $25.00-$30.00/hr
