Job Summary

This will be a telecommuter opportunity in California that will focus on provider education and tracking of the State's Medi-Cal enrollment process and the 8 County Medi-Cal expansion and provider recruitment of individual/group/Agency providers in the State of CA. The position will also support Bay Area provider recruitment effort. The position will not incur any travel as any provider recruitment will be telephonically or electronically through the docu-sign and salesforce applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provider overall assistance in developing provider network (physicians, ancillary groups)
  • Maintain documentation of the enrollment and provider recruitment effort in all applicable systems
  • Provider outreach follow up and education to network providers both telephonically and email
  • Manage services issues related to provider data updates following protocols
  • Make follow up outreach via phone or email to network providers who are not enrolled with the State
  • Send State enrollment information, provide education to providers about the enrollment process with side by side navigation and assistance with MediCal PAVE system, if needed both telephonically and email
  • Document/entering enrollment data updates through the Salesforce application
  • As an integral part of the recruitment efforts, review and process returned mail
  • Collect all contracting and credentialing information from providers for credentialing purposes
  • Submit applications/contracts/credentialing for processing
  • Document with entering recruitment data updates through the Salesforce application
  • Send contracting information to providers
  • Submit provider updates through the ePuf application system following protocol
  • Weekly follow up with provider related to enrollment and provider recruitment
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements with providers and staff
  • Ability to solve moderately complex problems and conduct moderately complex analysis
  • Perform work with minimal guidance to meet timelines
  • Experience working with behavioral health providers preferred
  • Min. undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • The ideal person would have a strong background in customer service/sales/health insurance industry for team support
  • The ideal qualities would include someone who is highly organized/able to multi-task/detail oriented/friendly personality who can instill confidence in providers to obtain their signatures
