Public accounting firms are not all alike! Let's face it, the enjoyment a person derives from their workplace is often driven by senior management's personality, direction, and desire to mentor and support their staff, among other things.
Many times the opportunity to succeed and learn as much as possible while working in public accounting is determined by the size of the firm and the variety of the client base. Our client, based in Rhode Island, has primarily New England based clients across multiple industries. They are well entrenched in the local business community and truly value client relationships, with many of these relationships extending back over two decades.
