Outside Sales - Road Warrior

job summary:
Our Nashville client needs a road warrior 40-50% overnight trips per year who knows how to sell and is ready to do it for a first-class company. This is a small team-oriented office full of people who work hard and have fun doing it. The culture is very family oriented and turnover is very low.

If you like driving to cover a multi-state territory and can handle 40-50% overnight travel this could be for you.

responsibilities:
This is primarily a Business-to-Business sales role calling on companies operating fleets of vehicles (Motorcoach operators) and selling them a range of much-needed and uniquely packaged services including fuel service cards and other programs. The territory includes multiple states.

This is a Nashville-based role so we're considering LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY.

Job Requirements include:

  • Associate degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Current valid driver's license w/good driving record
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and Access
  • Strong work ethic and driven to succeed
  • (40-50% travel) 140-150 days/year on the road
  • Veteran friendly firm
 
qualifications:
Base Salary is $58K w/uncapped commission to $100K+. You will generally spend a week in the office scheduling client appointments for the following week and so on to make sure you get the most bang for your travelling time. Typically make 3-4 sales calls per day when on the road and average 20-30 face to face/month. The firm pays mileage reimbursement, gas and more.
