What will you be doing?

  • Partnering with another payroll specialist to work through payroll for about 500 employees on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
  • The bulk of the payroll is manual, keying in timesheets and then uploading to ADP. The client is looking toward electronic timesheets in 2019. One business unit does have a T&E system that is just reviewed and sent to ADP.
  • Work daily in Excel for validation of data and timesheets as well as reporting and reconciliation
  • Review weekly ACA reporting
  • Data entry of new hire information, benefit information, withholdings and terminations
What do you need to have?

  • Very good attention to detail. Most of the process is manual, so it is essential that hours are entered properly and the reconciliation process is accurate.
  • Proficiency with Excel and a 10-Key machine
  • Prior experience with ADP or another similar software
  • Prior payroll experience is needed, preferably in construction setting with employees that are tracked for hourly labor
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work on a small team and handle a wide variety of payroll related tasks
