Workers' Compensation Litigation Attorney REMOTE
An international insurance organization has an immediate need for a litigation attorney licensed in Louisiana with experience litigating workers' compensation cases.
This is a REMOTE role, that will require travel within the area (eg getting to a deposition).
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary role, approved for 3 months in duration, but it is likely the role will be extended or will turn into permanent employment.

In this role you will be working on multiple workers' compensation matters.
Primary duties include:
(i) tasks associated with the discovery process (e.g., taking depositions, preparing interrogatories, drafting discovery requests, etc.)
(ii) making appearances in court;
(iii) drafting pleadings and motions;
(iv) case evaluations
Job Requirements of an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney:
(1) An active license (in good standing) to practice law in Louisiana.
(2) Two (2) or more years' experience litigating workers' compensation matters.
(3) Strong writing and communication skills.
