As a Purchasing Manager you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and have responsibility for the entire purchase process. Being extremely well organized and having the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a very high level of customer satisfaction is paramount to being successful in this role. A "business acumen" mindset is required! People that are introverted and do not enjoy working with others will not work here! But if you have worked as part of a team and have a track record of being proactive in terms of taking on more work, you will like this environment!
Qualified candidates will have to least five years of purchasing experience that includes working with an ERP/MRP system, interacting with Supply Chain and Operations to meet customer demand, achieve exceptional (lowest possible) vendor costs, maintain adequate lead times, and sourcing of new products in a timely manner. An Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar business concentration is preferred but not required. If you lack a degree but believe your work experience outweighs a degree please apply.
