Located in Middletown, Ohio with over 10 departments, millions of pounds processed monthly, dozens of pieces of mobile equipment and a shredding system the length of a football field, the person who lands this role must be highly skilled in operation management and employee relations. The position is a newly created role that reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for all processes from receiving to shipping.

responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurate & timely order processing
  • Warehouse flow and layout
  • Supporting role in proprietary software enhancements
  • Inventory management
  • Promoting industry-leading safe workplace habits
  • Building an engaging team environment
  • Employee recruitment and development
  • Helping create and implement holistic benefits to our team members as people, not simply employees
  • Routinely providing key operational reports
  • Maximizing facility, employee & equipment output
  • Facilitating accurate costing of operational tasks to best determine purchasing/sales strategies
  • Candid feedback to all levels of the organization, including items unrelated to operations
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures for all major activities
  • Provide a fun, safe and respectful work environment for all employees
 
qualifications:
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years operation management experience in senior level positions
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)
  • Ability to read various financial statements
  • Experience in leading lean process improvements (lean certifications preferred)
  • Track record success proven through metrics
  • Strong computer skills
