About the Role:

  • Prepare State and Federal income and excise tax return for Mutual Funds
  • Prepare tax provision portion of financial statement disclosure
  • Prepare excise tax work papers and distribution analysisfor Mutual Funds
  • Identify and analyze items of income and expenses
  • Review Statements to assure adequate tax disclosures, including capital loss carry forwards
Requirements:

  • Ability to take direction under Tax Manager and Tax Supervisor
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 1-4 years of tax specific experience in Mutual Fund accounting or taxation, compliance or audit
  • Knowledge of tax laws and SEC/IRS compliance
  • Ability to interact with fellow employees (team environment)
  • Strong attention to detail
