Job Duties:

  • The Key Account Manager (KAM) maintains and expands relationships with strategically important accounts. The KAM is responsible for achieving a sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with corporate and field personnel for assigned accounts.
  • Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Identify and communicate the involvement of necessary resources to achieve account objectives and meet customer expectations, including: management, sales (direct and manufacturer's representatives), business development, technical support, customer service.
  • Proactively lead the joint company key account planning process that establishes mutual performance objectives, financial targets, marketing/promotional activities and critical milestones for the successful growth of the organizations.
  • Coordinate with district, regional, national and/or global resources to achieve identified strategic account objectives.
  • Establish connect with Product teams - IoT, AI and Cloud enabled products (ERP, CRM and Azure).
  • Nurture close engagement with customer's key stakeholders in line with Account Management Plan.
  • Driving Regional Marketing plan - Communication, Event Participation.
  • KPI includes Account Topline, Engagement Index, Customer Satisfaction.
  • This position requires significant (40-60%) travel, primarily in North America and some international.
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10-15 years of account management experience
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills are essential. Individual must be entrepreneurial and highly innovative, with the ability to conceptualize and implement strategic market/product planning and with good follow-up and integrative abilities.
  • Must have previous experience working within the technical field
