Senior Accountant

job summary:
POSITION SUMMARY

-Responsible for all aspects of the payroll function for a fast-growing company. Will administer payroll using ADP for employees in multiple states. Requires expertise in payroll and related rules and regulations.

-Managing Accounts Payable function

-G/L

RESPONSIBILITIES:

) Responsible for all aspects of payroll processing including accurate calculation and posting of all additions, changes and maintenance to the payroll system and payroll files as well as providing payroll reports and payroll information.

) Will be responsible for handling complex payroll transactions in multiple states.

) Responsible for payroll related account reconciliations, journal entries and Accruals into the Great Plains accounting software.

) Managing AP to ensure timely payments to Vendors

) Reconcile multiple Prepaid Accounts

) Review Fixed Assets

) Weekly Cash Reporting to CEO, CFO, and Controller

) Banks Reconciliations

) Prepare and reconcile Debt Schedules

) File Quarterly Sales & Used Tax Return

) Quarterly Flux Analysis

) Back up for Concur support

) Prepare 10Q and 10K support

) Review Property Tax

) Resolve issues and discrepancies

) Effectively communicate with employees, supervisors and HR.

) Miscellaneous duties as assigned, and assisting Finance with ad hoc projects
