Marketing Project Manager - New York, NY

  • This is a contract role expected to last 12 months.
  • This position will have a critical role in the execution of the Chief Investment Office's business strategy by managing marketing communication and production initiatives through the editing, approval and distribution process. The candidate will need to effectively manage business partner relationships and partner to produce recurring publications and daily marketing communications. Candidate must maintain a thorough knowledge of systems and operations processes for deliverables. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing and managing marketing production schedule on recurring publications and daily fund communications, regular updates to fund commentaries and Advisor implementation guides. Serve as primary liaison with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Marketing Project Manager - Job Duties:

  • Timely and effective development, execution and management of marketing and communication strategies
  • Execute and manage daily production schedule of fund specific communications including Analyst Notes, Manager Flashes and related editorial review and metrics
  • Execute and manage monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual production of fund commentaries and advisor implementation guides
  • Own process documentation and schedule updates for all production items
  • Manage marketing team status updates, scorecards and project invoicing
  • Contribute to leadership presentation updates where needed
  • Coordinate and foster collaborative relationships within the marketing group
  • Develop strong, effective relationships with line of business and compliance partners
Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Financial Services, preferably in Wealth Management Marketing/Operations
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities
  • Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment with changing priorities; ability to manage within tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Understanding and working knowledge of financial services required, experience in wealth management, alternative investments preferred
  • Superior organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong relationship building
  • Professional maturity to effectively interface with senior management
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including PowerPoint; other desktop skills or willingness to learn preferred
Compensation: $30.00-$38.13/hr
