IT Audit Manager

job summary:

The Information Technology Audit team is responsible for providing the specialized skills required to assess and evaluate controls over corporate-wide systems, infrastructure, environments, and system development efforts in support of businesses. The IT Audit Manager leads operational and integrated audits. Key areas of focus include developing hypotheses around risk and controls, providing input to the integrated audit plan, and managing a high-performing project team. Audit areas of focus may include: data centers, network and IT infrastructure, firewall and perimeter security, mobile security, disaster recovery, change and configuration management, and incident handling.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of controls, risk management, compliance, and governance processes
  • Partnering with business leaders to improve control environment
  • Responding quickly to change through continuous risk assessment
  • Providing insight on new and changing products and systems
  • Coaching and supporting team members for audit and leadership positions

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with different levels of management within a variety of businesses or functions to identify risks and resolve issues across the global organization
  • Escalating identified issues and proposing viable solutions
  • Presenting findings to audit management and business leaders
  • Preparing audit reports and providing recommendations
  • Supporting various department initiatives
  • Collaborates with others to achieve team goals and contributes to departmental thought leadership by following industry and technology trends
  • Aptitude to shift between high-level strategic thinking and detail-oriented testing
  • Ability to manage team priorities and workloads in an agile environment
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong desire to deliver results
  • Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Learn & leverage our automated tools for innovative solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with exposure to information technology, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field
  • 5-7 years of external/internal audit, project management, or technology-related work experience
  • Professional audit or information security certifications (CISA, CISSP, CSM, AWS, SANS GIAC, etc.), are preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of technologies, examples include: operating systems, cybersecurity tools, cloud technologies, big data, network technologies, database systems, programming languages, web application services, and information security
