Construction Defect Insurance Defense Paralegal

job summary:
An international insurance organization has an immediate need for a Construction Defect Paralegal available to work for 3+ months in Pasadena, CA. This work will be full time (40 hours/week) on-site. This is a temporary position (not a permanent position).

In this role you will be assisting attorneys working on construction defect matters in anticipation of trial.

responsibilities:
Primary duties include:

(i) Responding to discovery requests

(ii) Preparing pleadings

(iii) Analyzing construction related documents, including scope of work agreements, contracts, homeowner matrices and other materials

 
qualifications:
Job Requirements:

(1) One (1) or more years' experience working in an insurance defense law firm.

(2) Strong writing and communication skills.

(3) Familiarity with construction defect law.
