If you're a seasoned accountant with a knack for accuracy, with an awesome personality we have a terrific opportunity for you to check out. As a staff accountant you will be preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. You'll be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. In addition, you'll be in communication with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, participating in compliance, and reviewing schedules for the reporting processes. This position involves a good deal of time spent on producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

Assist in monthly financial close workbook preparation, including annual closing process
Be responsible for analysis of income statements and balance sheets and communicate findings to management
Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls under SOX and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested
Preparing monthly account reconciliations
Ready complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
Perform month end close, journal entries with minimum supervision
Report on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner
Carry out fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation - Recent and relevant accounting experience
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
As a Staff Accountant, you will facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, assisting with the analysis of financial statements on a monthly basis as well as reports on variances. You will also assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
Minimum requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of accounting/finance experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
- CPA candidate would be a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Staff Accountant
- Excellent communication skills
- Netsuite is a must
