Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for someone to join a large supply chain client of ours for peak season to handle the data entry needs!

location: Easton, Pennsylvania

What you'll do on a typical day:

- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establish entry priorities

- Process source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution

- Enter data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format

- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures

- Test system changes and upgrades; secure information by performing database backups

- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combine data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purge files to eliminate duplication of data

At a minimum, you'll need:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- 6 months of previous supply chain experience

- Data entry or AP experience

- Advanced mathematical skills; excellent bookkeeping and organizational skills

- Proficiency in MS Office applications with strong Excel skills
