Primary Responsibilities:

This is a Benefits Administrator position that will be joining a large Aerospace company on the Eastside. This position is a contract position, but for the right candidate it could become a permanent home!

Health & Group Plans

  • Serve as benefits help desk main point of contact for all benefit plans.
  • Support field HR in researching and resolving escalated benefits issues
  • Assign items to appropriate resources and facilitate action by others.
  • Primary responsibility for health and group benefit administration support:
  • Support, monitor, and troubleshoot regular system interface activity with our service provider.
  • Troubleshoot and recommend H&G enrollment system claim/appeal activity.
  • Research and resolve payroll deduction issues (retroactive deductions, discrepancies), ensuring data accuracy and working with business units as needed.
  • Facilitate and ensure the accurate processing of Qualified Medical Child Support Orders by H&G service provider.
  • Upload wellness program activity files.
  • Allocate monthly H&G charges to US subsidiaries and reconcile corp. office benefit premiums. and administrative service payments for all health and group benefits.
  • Process payroll transactions for HSAs and Flex accounts including any issue resolution.
  • Reconcile monthly medical and dental claims incurred against corporate bank account transactions.
  • Provide testing support of the benefits administration system for smooth open enrollment usage.
  • Manager third party vendors by clearly articulating expectations.
  • Monitor and update documents on benefit administration system.
  • Respond to industry surveys.
  • Review results of surveys, analyze and provide a summary with recommendations.
  • Review SOC1 reports from vendors and document for auditors.
  • Run census files and other reports for audit and analysis.
  • Review and update ACA data for accuracy and support the Form 1095 print and filing process.
  • Support Wellness Champions with information and materials for challenges.
  • Organize and conduct educational webinars on benefits topics such as open enrollment.
  • Coordinate system access for new HRBP's and monitor for terminations.
  • Other duties as requested to appropriately administer benefit programs and provide excellent customer service for employees.
Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service skills to include timely response.
  • Ability to say, "No" in a professional manner or give unpleasant news when needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Well-developed math and computer skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with broad range of technical and non-technical people.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative work style
Education/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years benefits administration experience.
  • 4 years prior experience in HR or in customer service capacity.
  • College degree and/or CEBS designation preferred.
  • Proficiency conducting web-meetings preferred
  • Computer Skills
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel and Word required.
  • HRIS experience
  • Report writing or report generation experience
